We have been providing preschoolers academic enrichment and Chrisitan education in downtown Arlington Heights for eight years.  With a 6:1 student teacher ratio, the environment is highly individualized - maximizing our students' learning experience.  We provide project-based learning in reading, math, science, social science, gross motor, fine motor, fine arts (drama, music, dance), and religion.  We also provide a nurturing environment where children thrive emotionally and socially.

 

The Arlington Heights area is blessed with highly rated elementary schools.  Their academic rigor calls for students entering kindergarten to be prepared and ready to learn in an accelerated ​environment.  Christian Pre-K was started because kindergarten students entering these schools need to be prepared - both academically and socially.  Our students leave with the strong love of learning that helps them thrive in elementary school.

Melissa Gilland is the owner of Christian Pre-K Prep and has been teaching for over 30 years.  She has dedicated her life to children and has a great passion to help them learn and grow. Her time teaching in poverty-stricken areas, affluent areas and internationally has given her a great appreciation that all children have their own unique set of circumstances.
